Berry Pie

  • 5 cups berries
  • 2/3 cup sugar
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 4 tbsp cornstarch
  1. Pour the lemon juice on the berries.
  2. Toss the berries in sugar and cornstarch.
  3. Put the mixture in an unbaked pie crust (can be store bought or home made).
  4. Bake at 425 degrees F for 10 minutes. Then lower the temperature to 350 degrees F and bake for 30-40 minutes until done.
  5. Cool and serve.

Dutch Cake

  • 200 g butter
  • 200 g sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 200 g flour
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tbsp vanilla sugar
  1. Cream butter and sugar.
  2. Add eggs one at a time.
  3. Mix in flour, baking powder, and vanilla sugar.
  4. Pour batter in greased bread pan.
  5. Bake at 180 degrees C (350 degrees F) for 60 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean.
