Hello! We are Michael and Wendy Auten and we want to welcome you to our farm. We are so glad you have found us and we look forward to providing you and your family with locally grown and handcrafted farm products. We are both proud to be part of multi-generational farming families and work hard to continue the tradition as we pass farm life down to the next generation.

Michael grew up on a beef/crop farm and Wendy grew up on a dairy farm all in the thumb of Michigan. We met showing steers at our local 4-h fair in our teens and have been working side by side to build this life we love together ever since. Attending the University of Michigan (Go Blue!) brought us both to Washtenaw County where we fell in love with the beauty of the area and the community we were surrounded by. Being away from farm life quickly made us realize how much we missed it though and we knew we needed to get back to our roots. We bought a house with some land and started our own farm in 2018. We started small by building a chicken coop, producing eggs, and growing produce. It felt amazing to get back to the hard work that is farm life and provide local quality food for our community.

Thanks to the support from our customers we have continued to grow and we truly enjoy working hard for our community. We pride ourselves on our commitment to providing humanely raised animal products that you can feel good about and that are good for you. We are committed to providing only the highest standard of care for our animals as we believe that all living beings deserve to be treated with dignity and respect. We encourage you to come visit the farm when we are open because we know you will appreciate our passion for what we do. Plus, you can always sign up for a cow cuddling spot while you are here, and who doesn’t want to snuggle cows!
