Berry Pie
- 5 cups berries
- 2/3 cup sugar
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 4 tbsp cornstarch
- Pour the lemon juice on the berries.
- Toss the berries in sugar and cornstarch.
- Put the mixture in an unbaked pie crust (can be store bought or home made).
- Bake at 425 degrees F for 10 minutes. Then lower the temperature to 350 degrees F and bake for 30-40 minutes until done.
- Cool and serve.
Dutch Cake
- 200 g butter
- 200 g sugar
- 4 eggs
- 200 g flour
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1 tbsp vanilla sugar
- Cream butter and sugar.
- Add eggs one at a time.
- Mix in flour, baking powder, and vanilla sugar.
- Pour batter in greased bread pan.
- Bake at 180 degrees C (350 degrees F) for 60 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean.
